At this moment, our website is available in 8 languages and 80 additional languages using Google Translate™.
Supported languages
By supported languages we mean the 8 main languages you can find on the website. These languages are all checked and translated by native speakers. Some of these speakers are employees at Europower and others are customers or suppliers. For now, there are 8 supported languages, but if you need to use our tools in your languages and/or want to help us with the translation, please contact us so we can talk about it.Language switching
From the 8 supported languages, English is the default. Nevertheless, you can find yourself browsing our website in one of the other 7 languages. Our website looks at the language of your browser and will change automatically to any of the supported languages. If your browser language is not one of the supported ones, than English will be taken as your default language. You can change to any of the supported languages by choosing one of the flags in our language selector. Your choice will be remembered, so next time you do not have to choose again.
Google Translate
Google Translate™ is a great tool. Many of us use it, so we did not hesitate to put this great tool on our website. The translation is not always the best, but it gives us the opportunity to understand each other.You can select any of the Google translation languages by clicking the Google Translate button just above the flags.
Translation and vocabulary
If we say “translation“ we are talking about website content, forms and other website parts.“Vocabulary” is a whole different story. Vocabulary can be described as words and sentences which are used by our tools. Tools such as Product Finder, Product Details, Product Sheets, Compare, Template system and even our price list use this vocabulary.
Vocabulary can only be part of our supported languages. If you see the flag, the chance is high the tools will be available in that language.

Templates
Our template system which is used in Product Sheets and Product Compare also use the vocabulary. If you would use customised templates, than you can use your own translation. This is great, but there is a downside to this story. If you use your own translation, you will have to make a template for every language you want to use. Let’s say you have Dutch and French customers. Than you will have to make a template in Dutch and one in French. Using the link to your custom HTML templates will guide your customers to that specific template in that specific language, regardless if the person speaks that language.We advise you to use our vocabulary just to prevent any deformity in the result.
